Whittington, Diana Marie
My life has been far too eccentric to give an accurate picture in one short note. I've gone from subsistence work as a photographer's model to living off the land in Vermont (a twenty-year stint) and work in the battered women's movement, to my current status as a graduate student in the marine science program at William and Mary's School of Marine Science. I have three daughters- Claire, 27 and living in San Francisco, Meredith, 21 and in college at Radford University in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, and Ashley, 14 and living at home. Just this last year I reunited with the man I met and lost when a very naive freshman at Florida State, and we're working to give each other the love we couldn't express thirty ! years ago.
My greatest wish for this particular endeavor is to get in touch with my fellow members of the first graduating class of Cabrillo. It was a wonderful year. I thank the creator of this site for your work.

Due to a family move (Air Force related) I was unable to graduate with my classmates; although we were in the 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th grades together. I graduated in 1974 from Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery, Alabama as the "new kid".
I know your web site is for 1977 graduates but I was hoping you might know someone or have information on the class of 1974. I visit Cabrillo when my husband and I go to California to visit his mother.

My husband Steve and I have been married almost 19 years. We have three children:
Jason: 17 yrs old and a junior
Jacob: 14 yrs old a freshman
Rebecca: 10 yrs old in fifth grade.
We are freezing right now but absolutely love Colorado. Steve is an engineer working for MCI main offices here in town. I just quit dental assisting and am now at home loving being the mom of great teenagers. Jason is now trying to decide where he will apply to college, this is so incredible to me. We can't be this old!!!!! Can we!! Well I have kept up with some of the "OLD" gang, but would love to hear from any who remember little old me!

Class of 1982
I'm currently working for ITT at Vandenberg. My wife and I have two sons that attend VMS (VJHS) and Buena Vista. I received the address for this site from an e-mail letter from my sister in N.D. So this site has gotten around in what appears to be a short time. I find it amazing that a small area like Lompoc can really touch the world.
